The primary responsibility of this Board is the formulation of

National Bureau of Economic Research
The NBER is the nation's leading nonprofit economic research organization. Twelve
of the 31 American Nobel Prize winners in Economics and three of the past Chairmen

This is a professional regulatory organization that fosters professional
standards in personal financial planning so that the public has access to and
benefits from competent financial planning. This Board sponsors the CERTIFIED
FINANCIAL PLANER designation (CFP™). The CFP Board also publishes and distributes
educational materials for both professionals and consumers.
